I am back (!) for those of you who did read my blog! I went through a year and a half dry spell and am trying to gain inspiration to get back in the groove. Bear with me since I am rusty from not writing in SO long.
My story involves the fact my beloved golden retriever Selka was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and died a short seven weeks later.(He was 11) It hit me like very few losses have. I lost all my desire to write or even to attempt to put words on a page. In between, my dad died after a long illness (peacefully in his sleep) and other stressors of life got in the way. I have only recently felt some of that old enthusiasm returning. Please bear with me as I try to muddle through and hopefully come up with some new topics. I'd also like to include more photos if I can get back into the photography mode.

Have any of you ever had a dry spell as far as writing?  Where do you get your inspiration. Maybe I'll save that for next time. : )
